Welcome in Vrsi
The Vrsi resort is spread over a small peninsula and consists of several parts. The center of the village lies on a hill in the interior, and parts of Mulo and Zukve lie on the shores of the bay on the western side of the peninsula. Thanks to this protected location, the sea here is pleasantly warm. Vrsi was declared a self-governing unit only recently in 2006. It has been gaining popularity in recent years, and thus the possibilities for accommodation and services are also slowly growing. However, it is still not one of the major tourist destinations, so in Vrsi you can look forward to nice beaches and a relaxed atmosphere without crowds of tourists. For a richer cultural life, we recommend going to the larger surrounding resorts. Vrsi is located 6 km northeast of the more famous resort of Nin and, for example, the beautiful historic Zadar is only 22 km away. In Vrsi you will find a promenade and several restaurants where you can taste local wine and fish and seafood specialties.
Beaches in Vrsi
Everyone can find their own beach in Vrsi. You can even find sand on Ričina beach on the northern side of the peninsula. The most beautiful beach is the Mulo pebble beach in the Vrsi - Mulo. The beach is groomed and has a gradual entrance to the sea, so it is also suitable for families with children or less skilled swimmers. There is also a beach bar and interesting attractions and services for young and old - water bike, scooter rental, bouncy castle at sea or an outdoor gym. There is also the possibility to go on a boat trip or to rent a sunbed and a parasol. A promenade with restaurants, cafes and shops runs along the beach. You can even buy fresh fish on the pier every morning. A pebble beach with a gradual entrance to the sea is also offered by the Vrsi - Zukve section. It is a quieter beach with fewer amenities. On the northwestern side of the peninsula, a 2 km long pine forest stretches right next to the sea. Swimming here is suitable for all lovers of privacy and also followers of naturism. The entrance to the sea is shallow, stony and sometimes muddy, so we recommend taking water shoes with you. But you will be rewarded with silence, peace and pleasant shade and the smell of pine trees all day long.
